Description
Document lab activities in notebooks, report findings/issues to the supervisor, prepare samples (which may involved weighing/measuring materials), operate lab instrumentation and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with ISO standards, assist in data collection and provide daily updates of test performance issues. Adhere to all aspects of laboratory safety in a biohazardous environment. Shift work may be required.
Laboratory experience handling aqueous and or blood products, operation of clinical chemistry analyzers, pipetting. General PC skills including Excel and Word. Experience following detailed written and verbal instructions, keeping detailed records or work and observations, good oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of immunology and clinical chemistry, mechanical aptitude are a plus.
