Job Description:
The Sr. Java Developer will be responsible for software development, release management, and scheduling. The position will work extensively with J2EE, Messaging Technologies (JMS, WMQI, Web Services), Database Technologies (Oracle, Informix, Hibernate,), and scripting (Perl, Shell Script, Ant).
Job Requirements:
• Hands on development experience with Object Oriented Programming in the J2EE framework (3+ years)
• Hands on development experience using Hibernate for persistence and query development (2+ years)
• Hands on experience with development toolsets (IRAD, WSAD, Rose J, TOAD, etc…) (2+ years)
• Hands on experience of Enterprise Data Integration (XML, Fixed Format, etc…) (2+ years)
• Hands on development experience with Messaging Technologies like JMS, WMQI, etc…(2+ years)
• Hands on development experience with Database Technologies (Oracle, Informix, etc…) (2+ years)
• Hands on experience supporting applications in a Unix or Linux environment (1+ years)
• JBoss Application Server knowledge, preferably in a Unix/Linux environment. (1+ years)
• Experience using automated unit testing technologies (JUNIT) Would be considered a plus but not required
• Experience in scripting (Perl, Shell Script, Ant, etc…) Would be considered a plus but not required
• Exposure to Web Services (WSDL, JAX-RPC, SOAP, etc…) Would be considered a plus but not required
• Working knowledge of UML, Design Patterns and standard software development practices, including OO design. Would be considered a plus but not required
